Riding the highs of his recent album “Mehfil”, Yungsta is still continuing the major moves. On 28th May, it was announced that Yungsta has joined forces with “The MVMNT”, a record label & collective co-founded by Sez on the Beat.
Welcoming the new member to their roster, The MVMNT wrote, “Yungsta, one of the most authentic rappers in the Indian scene, comes from humble beginnings & boasts a versatile rap game. His lyrics often contain references to rising up from the underbelly of middle-class society through perseverance in one’s craft. All heart & real stories is what you get from him.”

The MVMNT (pronounced as The Movement) was founded by Sez on the Beat & his manager Faizan Khan in 2020, after Sez parted ways with Azadi Records. Multiple hit records and projects later, the record label/collective has only gotten stronger with each release. Apart from Yungsta’s latest addition, The MVMNT’s current roster includes Sez on the Beat, DAKAIT, Aniket Raturi and Lit Happu.
Sez, who has put together landmark Indian hip-hop records like Divine and Naezy’s ‘Mere Gully Mein’ & Prabh Deep’s ‘Class-Sikh’, is now onto showcasing the next generation. Big ups to The MVMNT and Yungsta for the major moves!
