Travis Scott Drops “The Plan” From Christopher Nolan’s New Movie

,

Travis Scott has shared his new single “The Plan.” The track will be featured in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming thriller movie Tenet. Dark, intense, trippy: it would be more surprising if it didn’t capture the feel of a Christopher Nolan movie. Scott collaborated with Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson on the song, which will be live on the forthcoming soundtrack.

Scott discussed Tenet in a recent interview with GQ’s Gerrick D. Kennedy. “I can’t even explain it,” Travis Scott said of the film. “You literally just have to watch it. It’s very fire.”

In the same article, Nolan spoke of Scott’s contribution to the soundtrack. “His voice became the final piece of a yearlong puzzle,” the director said of Scott. “His insights into the musical and narrative mechanism [composer] Ludwig Göransson and I were building were immediate, insightful, and profound.”

Tenet stars Robert Pattinson, John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, and others. The movie was delayed due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions but it is set to open in select theaters around the world on August 26. Tenet will be available widely in the United States on September 3. Check out the song below.
