The Game isn’t letting Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant’s memories fade to the background, remembering the late stars in his animated video “Welcome Home.” The visuals show Bryant and Nipsey playing basketball together as well as the latter posted up at his now-famous Marathon Clothing store.
An animated Bryant is shooting hoops at a park before he’s accompanied by the Compton star. Hussle later enters the fray, parked on top of his Marathon Clothing store, rapping his verse from the Born 2 Rap standout. “Gave my mind to these millions and my heart to the game. Probably die up in these streets, but I survive through my name,” raps Hussle on the Bongo-produced scorcher.
The veteran MC has also dropped a lyric video for his 21 Savage collaboration “The Code.” Both tracks come from 2019’s Born 2 Rap LP, which was released last November via Entertainment One. Born 2 Rap was billed as the final album of Game’s career. The 25-track project included guest appearances by Chris Brown, Mozzy, Anderson .Paak and D Smoke, among others.
