6ix9ine Reportedly Signed a $10M Deal For 2 New Albums

According to TMZ, the platinum-selling artist Tekashi 6ix9ine has landed a record contract worth roughly $10 million. Sources close to the currently imprisoned rapper say he just cut the deal with his former label 10K Projects and will be expected to deliver two new albums — one in English and one in Spanish.

During 6ix9ine’s testimony last month, he admitted he agreed to cooperate with the feds the day after his November 2018 arrest. He ultimately took the witness stand against alleged Nine Trey Bloods gang members Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack. Due to his cooperation, 6ix9ine could be out as soon as early 2020. He reportedly plans to reject the witness protection program and get right back to work.

He allegedly purchased two beats from a burgeoning New York City producer and is anxious to resume his relatively brief — yet undeniably successful — rap career.

“It looks like he will be making music right away when he comes home,” a music insider said. “He already contacted a young NYC producer, and someone purchased two beats for him.”

His official debut album, Dummy Boy, rivaled Travis Scott’s Astroworld for the No. 1 Billboard 200 spot upon its December 2018 release. It sold 65,598 total album equivalent units in its first week.
