Game Of Thrones Move Aside! Sikander Kahlon Is The New 'King In The North'

“22 Saal Da Main Banna Firan G.O.A.T” – Sikander Kahlon

In fact, it was a 19-track long mixtape. Tracks like “2017 Flow”, “Jee”, “Shaheedi”, “Dat Nigga (Remix)”, “Whore”, “My Girl” and others got impressive recognition. However, what actually got everyone’s attention was “K.I.T.N.” Likewise, “K.I.T.N.” or “King in the North” came out as a declaration that the throne of North-Indian rap is his. Also, the title is a reference to popular TV Series “Game of Thrones”. In addition, the track came out via “Muzik One Records” official YouTube channel.

Moreover, everyone knows that Sikander Kahlon is signed to Manj Musik. As a result, Manj plays a major role in shaping Sikander’s releases. As a matter of fact, the video of this track was first scheduled to be released in the month of July.

While we don’t know why the release got delayed, the video was surely worth the wait. “Mohali Messiah 2 was released last year in the month of December. Additionally, Brampton-based producer Byg Byrd produced the instrumental for “K.I.T.N.” with an Indian/Trap vibe.

In fact, the instrumental features a sample from the track “Ek Mulaqaat” from 1999 Bollywood flick “Sirf Tum”. The instrumental starts with a sample from “Game of Thrones” as well. It also has a quote by Lord Jon Umber that says  “It was the dragons we bowed to. And now the dragons are dead, there sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to, the King in the North”.

Furthermore, Dilpreet Singh aka The Grim has directed the amazing video for “K.I.T.N”. On the other hand, The Grim has previously done videos for Sikander’s “Bad Girl” and “Her Song”. He has also shot the Nazarbattu Anthem, shots of Badshah, BIG Dhillon and Raftaar for the track “Desi Hip Hop”. He has also shot the video of “Gucci Armaani” by Simranjeet which featured Raftaar.

In fact, in the video, you can see some of the faces from the underground as well. Rappers from the capital city can be seen in the video along with Sady Immortal. Yungsta, Seedhe Maut, San Cha, and Punit Malhotra showed their support and agreed to get featured on the video.
