December, 2016 witnessed the release of Sikander Kahlon’s Mohali Messiah 2. In fact, it was a 19 tracks long mixtape. Tracks like “2017 Flow”, “Jee”, “Shaheedi”, “Dat Nigga (Remix)” and others got impressive recognition. However, what actually got everyone’s attention was “K.I.T.N.”. “K.I.T.N.” or King in the North came out as a declaration that the throne of North-Indian rap is his. The title is a reference to popular TV Series – Game of Thrones. The ruler of the Northern realm gets the title of The King in the North in Game of Thrones.
As a matter of fact, everyone knows that Sikander Kahlon is signed to Manj Musik. As a result, whatever Sikander does is influenced by Manj’s decisions. Manj Musik is finally releasing the video of Sikander’s “KITN” next week and here is what we know about it.
The audio of “K.I.T.N.” came out with Mohali Messiah 2 in the December of 2016. Bramton-based producer Byg Byrd produced the instrumental with an Indian/Trap vibe. In fact, the instrumental features a sample from the track “Ek Mulaqaat” from 1999 Bollywood flick Sirf Tum. The instrumental starts with a sample from Game of Thrones as well. It was quoted by Lord Jon Umber in the series. “It was the dragons we bowed to. And now the dragons are dead, there sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to, the King in the North.” he says.
Manj Musik revealed the poster used above through his social media a few days ago. The caption said, “
🔥🔥🔥🔥@skndrkalo 🔥🔥🔥🔥 New music video coming soon! Subscribe to my YT CHANNEL to see more details!”. Yesterday, Manj Musik revealed the artwork of the track on his Instagram handle. Sikander Kahlon reposted it on his handle and then posted it to his Facebook page. The caption read, “This one for the underground man dem! K.I.T.N. king in the north music video. Coming out next week! #Punjabitrap #gameofthrones #themevibes #KKG”.

Now we know that the video is based on the theme of Game of Thrones. So, there is one more guy who needs to be credited. Dilpreet Singh aka The Grim has directed this amazing video and since he is involved, expect madness. The Grim has previously done videos for Sikander’s “Bad Girl” & “Her Song”. He has also shot the Nazarbattu Anthem, shots of Badshah, BIG Dhillon and Raftaar for the track “Desi Hip Hop”. He has also shot the video of “Gucci Armaani” by Simranjeet which featured Raftaar.
There is no release date revealed yet but we’re pretty sure that this is coming out next week. And this is the second artwork which has Sikander Kahlon’s new official logo on it. Apart from this, “Repeat” is a major KKG collaboration which is lined up for next month. Its a Black Eye Galaxy and Kala Kurta Gang collaboration that will be out on September 8, 2017. You should also expect Sikander’s verse on “Yaar Hathyaar” by Simar Gill anytime now.
