Shah Rule, who is gearing up for his upcoming “Hooked” EP, has dropped music video of his two singles “Hooked” (ft. Meba Ofilia) and “Khara Sona”. The rapper, singer, songwriter, producer also recently signed with Mass Appeal India/Universal Music India.
Talking with RadioAndMusic.com Shah Rule said, “I’m so excited to partner with the Mass Appeal India family. I started rapping at the age of 13 and since then hip-hop has been my biggest strength and I’m looking forward to showcase my passion and vision through my upcoming maiden EP.”

“Hooked” and “Khara Sona” introduce the world to the inimitable and individualistic cult rap icon, Shah Rule. The dual singles thematically focus on the human instinct in regards to materialism, while the music video builds out the related stages of realization people go through while indulging in desire fulfillment/addiction. The title track “Hooked” features Meba Ofilia and is produced by Xplicit & Stunnah Beatz. Xplicit also solely produced “Khara Sona” and Shah Rule co-write this track with D’Evil & Gravity.
Born in Hong Kong, raised in Moscow, and educated in London, Indian origin, Shah Rule, sonically brings an eclectic mix of hard-hitting hip-hop and electronic drums, combined with his influences and sounds acquired through his travels and life journey. Shah Rule’s signature sound shines through his hooks on major Indian hip-hop collaborations.
