Hailing from Canada but representing Punjab, Saint Soldier has linked with Vancouver-based producer Skinny Local for a genre-bending banger titled “Mukthi”. The track comes out via. Snakes x Ladders.
Talking about the process behind the song, Skinny Local wrote on Instagram, “Whenever the Saint Soldier & I get together, it’s always a new experience.”

Born in Punjab in 1984, Saint Soldier immigrated to Canada with his family as a child. Combining his influences in hip hop and Sikhism, he has taken it as his life’s purpose to share his message through music. While Skinny Local is based in Vancouver but his heritage comes from Mumbai, which keeps him connected with India’s hip-hop scene as well as Canada’s diaspora Indians.
