Upamanyu Datta aka PABLO, rapper and music producer from Kolkata releases English/Bengali single, “TENNIS” as he gears up for his “100s” EP. Tennis is the first one from his upcoming EP which features 3 different artists rapping in Kannada, Punjabi & Gujarati.
The 25-year-old artist is a first of its kind performer in the Indian music scene and describes his music as ‘trap’. A long standing multi genre music producer with a huge spectrum of releases, he’s an equally good songwriter, and takes turns to rap and DJ on stage during his performance. Having played in festivals like Sunburn, VH1 Supersonic and Zomaland, he is also an super energetic performer.

Also talking about his EP and the process behind it Pablo said, “It’s a curation of some of the best bars in different Indian languages, the thought that has been put into this project is remarkable by all standards. At the end of the day, 100s is a compilation of four rap anthems from me and my super talented friends, and my return to effortless storytelling over beats, that is all set to take over the sound of modern Indian Hip Hop”.
Being a rapper/songwriter/producer, Pablo aims to represent local culture with a global sound with his music. Although primarily writing about personal experiences in English in his songs, he belts out multilingual collaborations with different artists all over the country.
