,

Hollywood is synonymous with celebrities, and those that are fortunate enough to receive stars on the Walk of Fame are immortalized on the neighborhood’s sidewalk forever. The latest class set to be honored with stars in 2022 was unveiled by the selection committee on June 17, which is headlined by the late Nipsey Hussle, the Los Angeles icon.

Other superstars slated to grace the famous sidewalk include Miami-bred mogul DJ Khaled, R&B heartthrob Ashanti, the Black Eyed Peas, Avril Lavigne, George Clinton and retired NFL legend-turned TV host Michael Strahan.

In 2005, Nipsey Hussle released his first mixtape “Slauson Boy Volume 1” and was later signed to Cinematic Music Group and Epic Records. In 2018, Hussle released his debut album, “Victory Lap”. The album was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. In 2020, he won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for his track “Racks in the Middle.”
