For years, MTV has dominated the sounds of Indian independent/commercial music on television. MTV is a name that resonates well with Hip-Hop globally due to its contributions to Hip-Hop on a massive scale. And right now, they are back on the map with their latest rap reality show – “Hustle”.

Judged by Indian rap megastars Raftaar & Raja Kumari, along with Indian super-producer Nucleya – MTV Hustle is all set to hunt for the country’s next big voice! All three of these judges know what it takes to be at the top of their game. The TV show aims to pick only the best talents for their chance to shine.

Hustle Hard

Not much about the show has been announced but a lot of emcees around India have been contacted to appear on the show. We await further details on the same. We do know that the 3 judges will be looking forward to mentoring and developing the artists in the show. In Raftaar’s own words – “Nothing makes me happier than music so I am superbly thrilled to be a part of MTV Hustle. Rap has forayed into the mainstream music scene and is not confined to streets anymore. A show like Hustle will further open the floodgates for untapped talents in the country who are waiting to be heard.”

Nucleya who has been involved with emcees like Divine and more in the Hip-Hop world says, “Rap has enabled artists to push boundaries in music and express themselves to the best of their creative finesse. This is one reality show India truly needs. It’s also my debut on national television which heightens the excitement further. I hope to be of value to the contestants as a mentor and musician and inspire them to perform better.”
