We’re back with episode two of the new weekly series kicked off by Mumbai’s leading lady Dee MC. If you haven’t seen the first episode we’re here to give you a gist of what’s in store for you in this weekly live session. Tuning in every Tuesday night at 10pm IST, Dee MC runs through her hot 5 picks of the week as well as invites guest emcees to chat and spit some bars live for the audience.

She also had a really talented up and coming female artist named Jivi join her to spit some fire bars. Repping the beautiful town of Silvassa, Jivi shared details of her rap journey’s humble beginnings. The artist was always teased for having a hoarse heavy voice. However, it was her brother-in-law who encouraged her to make the best of the heavy voice and try her hand at rapping. That was enough to make this young emcee give it her all. Her first appearance on Desi Hip Hop was deeply loved by the audience who were stunned by her fire bars!

Joining next was Bangladesh’s rap star Black Zang who collaborated with Dee on their joint ‘No Boundaries’. The duo reunited online to promote their track featured in the latest Netflix joint ‘Extraction’. You can read more about the Desi Hip Hop tracks featured in the Hollywood film in the link below! Black Zang and Dee signed off by spitting their verses from ‘No Boundaries’ for the audience tuned in.
