Toosie, who Drake tagged in the post, shared an Instagram video of himself and some friends dancing to the “Toosie Slide.” During an interview with Rolling Stone, Toosie revealed that Drake had sent them the song snippet and asked for their help in creating a dance that would garner TikTok fame.

Drake and director Theo Skudra also built the video for the pandemic, as self-isolation and social distancing become familiar mandates. He wears a face mask and gloves in the video and showcases the palatial emptiness of his current situation. The video opens by scanning a vacant Toronto; at the end, fireworks go off, with no one else in sight to see them.
