Drake Releases “Scary Hours 2” EP & A New Music Video

,

Drake’s highly anticipated album Certified Loverboy may still be indefinitely delayed, but the Canadian rapper has given us some new music to tide us over. Drake just dropped off a three-track EP titled Scary Hours 2 featuring appearances from Lil Baby and Rick Ross. There’s “What’s Next,” “Wants and Needs” with Lil Baby, and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” featuring Rick Ross.

In “What’s Next,” Drake makes it very clear how he’s spent his quarantine: stretching and you-know-what-ing. “Well, summer, all I did was rest, OK? / And New Year’s, all I did was stretch, OK? /And Valentine’s Day, I had sex, okay? / We’ll see what’s ‘bout to happen next,” Drake raps in the chorus.

Fans also appreciated that Drake tapped into his hometown roots for his latest music video. For a portion of this music video, Drake headed to Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada where he rapped against sharks and in an especially aesthetic scene, gigantic jellyfish. He also rapped a verse inside Toronto‘s subway system run by the TTC, and even headed downtown to film in front of the big flashy screen of Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square.

Certified Lover Boy’s release, meanwhile, was hit with a delay back in January—the same month fans were originally expecting a drop—due to Drake’s knee injury. Stream Drake’s “Scary Hours 2” EP below.
