Emraan Hashmi just dropped the trailer video for his new movie “Harami” and DIVINE was quick to notice something familiar. DIVINE alleges that the song in the trailer is directly copied from his and Rajakumari’s 2017 hit “City Slums”. The flow of the rap in the trailer sounds eerily similar to his verse’s flow on the 2017 song.
DIVINE took to his Instagram story when he found out about the issue and was quick to claim“City slums flow???🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️”.

This isn’t a new incident for Desi Hip Hop artists though. Just a few weeks back, KRSNA also alleged the plagiarism of his song Dekh Kaun Aya Wapas in IPL 2020’s Anthem. KRSNA did receive overwhelming support from the Indian Hip-hop community. He also filed a complaint regarding the issue but replies from Music Composer’s Association of India (MCAI) disregarded his claims.
DIVINE recently dropped the title track from his forthcoming eclectic album ‘Punya Paap’ in association with Mass Appeal India and Gully Gang Entertainment.
