Dhinchak Pooja, who became a social media sensation by releasing off-tune pop/hip-hop songs is in the news once again. It seems that all of her “music videos” have been deleted from her YouTube channel. “Dilon Ka Shooter”, for some reason, is still there. As they say, “Overnight success does not necessarily come overnight.” But can it vanish over a night? Dhinchak Pooja’s videos are deleted now and in response whole of the social media is celebrating big time.
Dhinchak ascended to a vexed but an august vogue and that too very briskly. Songs like “Swag Wali Topi”, “Daaru Daaru” etc. became a quotidian jam of a few who had a jolly laugh over them. On the other hand, a majority was furious and promulgated Dhinchak as a piteous act. There are a few theories related to this sudden removal of her songs that are taking rounds over the internet.
Sonu Nigam’s Shoutout
Renowned Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam recently posted a shout-out video on his Facebook handle. Sonu can be seen singing “Dilon Ka Shooter” in Kumar Sanu’s vocal style. Nigam posted this video on July 10, 2017, exactly a day before the sudden disappearance of her videos. Sonu posted:
People are suggesting that Pooja felt disgraced and decided to turn down her own videos. Really?
Kathappa Singh’s Claim
Each and every of Pooja’s songs were reported by Kathappa Singh except “Dilon Ka Shooter”. The report basically suggests that the video turn down was done on the base of a copyright infringement issue. Apparently, no one knows who this Kathappa Singh is.
The Police Complaint
When “Dilon Ka Shooter” came out, it came out with not so usual backlash. A guy named Mohit Singh reportedly tweeted his complaint against Dhinchak to Delhi Police. His complaint mentioned Pooja shooting the video without a helmet while bumping music very loudly in the locality. See Mohit’s tweet:

Guess what? Delhi Police and Delhi Traffic Police asked for the place where the video was shot. Later, confirmed an action against her.

According to a few people, Delhi Police have turned down her videos from her channel.
Wait, There’s One More Possibility.
Dhinchak Pooja’s claim of being a rapper pissed off a lot of minds. During the days when “Swag Wali Topi” was trending, a possibility took birth. The possibility of earning statistical fame and popularity by releasing ear-hurting music and then dropping a banger. As the time passed by, a lot of people didn’t agree with this theory as she was continuously releasing the same off-tune music. However, no one can deny her popularity in terms of statistics.
Her YouTube channel is verified with over 183K subscribers and over 3.5 million views. Phewww! Quite an overnight success! Imagine if she was fooling everyone and drops a decent music video now? What is gonna happen? Her fans might say that she grew as an artist in terms of skills but the theory suggests that it was all marketing. As a matter of fact, bad popularity is till popularity at the end of the day.
