We spoke to D’Evil to know more about what was on his mind while he penned this track. He stated, “I am speaking to the new generation of rappers telling them about the music struggles and how it’s not easy being a rapper. The song is a subtle dig at how new artists can’t take criticism and they need to realize the importance of self evaluation before they take shots at veterans.” Well the message is loud and clear, new rappers better check yourself before you wreck yourself!

It’s been an interesting year for the rapper.  D’Evil will soon be seen in the upcoming Bollywood hip hop movie Gully Boy. Apart from that the rapper recently collaborated with Amit Trivedi on a song featuring Divine. He has also rapped a sick verse for the Sanjay Dutt starrer flick Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3.

Desi Hip Hop’s Freestyle Friday Mumbai edition also features rappers Poetik Justis, EMF, X-Centrik, Shaikhspeare and Dee MC. Starting today, y’all better watch out for this edition every week. Till then checkout D’Evil in the video below!
