Like every other week, we, at desihiphop.com, try to bring some of the hottest releases from the week for hip-hop listeners. These are hand-picked releases which are not arranged in any rankings and are equally important for the culture. Without any further ado, let’s see some of the dopest releases of this week from the underground scene.

1. Rap Kavigalu | Alpha Omega Remix

Rap Kavigalu is a hip- hop family from Bengaluru marching on their way to greatness with Hip Hop/Rap Music. In a scene covered by mainstream acts, they represent underground movement by keeping it real through their lyrics and tune. As a matter of fact, “Alpha Omega Remix” is basically the perspective vision of “Jazbaat” on living incidents and world events. MGK did the music for the track. On the other hand, Clown Media Services did the post production for the track.

2.Vibrant V | I Still

The artist Vibrant V has put out this track after a span of 2 years since he has been working on his rapping skill low-key and also learning video making. Additionally, the major work in this video has been accomplished by Abhishek Sailani. He also did the editing, cinematography and VFX  for the track. Candid Nib did the post production for the track. Filament Beats has created the instrumental. As a matter of fact, the track is being presented by Verbalord Music
On the other hand, the track samples the last interview of the legend we lost recently i.e. Chester Bennington of Linkin Park fame, where he talks about his demons and his current state of mind. Furthermore he talks about the hardship of surviving on his own, battling the demons in his head who spontaneously try to bring him down. The track  “I Still” has been furnished as a public diary of the artist and the sample portrays how many people go through what Chester experienced.

3. Marathi Cypher| Marathi Hip-Hop

Basically, the theme of this cypher was an abstract free verse. In addition, Amol Garud, the third rapper from the video, took the initiative for this cypher. He, Pranav, and Irfan mutually decided to do the Pune edition of “Marathi Cypher” series. As a matter of fact, the video was shot at a friend’s jam room in Pune through their phone’s camera, which they later edited a little a bit. As a matter of fact, the video was shot by battle rapper Ajay Ghone aka That Dude AJ and Avinash. Also, they are planning to do more projects as “Marathi Hip-Hop” which consists of more such cypher videos and cross collaboration among Marathi rappers within the community.

4.Tamancha | Neeru Pal

You might not recognise this sweet looking girl from Dehradun but trust us, she is a beast in disguise. We know for a fact that hip-hop has always been a male-dominated industry. But every now and then, a female rapper comes to shift the dominance. This time, it’s Neeru Pal. She has recently released “Tamancha” and it’s quite impressive. Furthermore, Neeru’s lyrical skills are bold and on-point in “Tamancha”. Rahul Bauriyan took the initiative of producing the instrumental for Neeru. In fact, Rahul managed to give “Tamancha” an aggressive storytelling vibe. RB Media Works did the engineering of the track.

5.LEVELS |Deep Harks ft. King Saifi 

Delhi’s VIP Munday are back with their brand new track “LEVELS” and they totally killed the instrumental. In this track, they are particularly talking to their rivals and stating how they are above all the competition. Deep Harks reproduced the beat which is created by Pore Muzic. He also did the post production for the track.

6.”You’re The One” |Brotha Hood  And The Rish

Shanawaz Khan who goes by the stage name of Brotha Hood is a Mumbai based rapper. He dropped a sick joint “You’re The One” for Tinder’s #iSuperLikeYou campaign. As a matter of fact, the track is written and performed by Brotha Hood and The Rish. Darpan Suthar is credited for the engineering work of “You’re The One”.

Basically, “You’re The One” is a commercial project for Tinder India for their #iSuperLikeYou campaign. They approached Brotha Hood for getting this track ready. Furthermore, the entire project was ready in less than 48 hours. Also, Brotha Hood wanted The Rish to get on the chorus. In fact, Brotha Hood used Hindi as well as English to appeal to a wider range of audience.
