We, at DesiHipHop.com, are happy to announce our new weekly edition which is entirely directed towards the underground. This piece features some of the most insane underground releases which, unfortunately, didn’t reach out to a mass audience.

Like every other week, we, at desihiphop.com, try to bring some of the hottest releases from the week for hip-hop listeners. These are hand-picked releases which are not arranged in any rankings and are equally important for the culture. Without any further ado, let’s see some of the dopest releases of this week from the underground scene.

DesiHipHop Hot Or Nah? (W/2)

1. Manzar- Jeff Sahil

According to Jeff Sahil, this was the track for which people were waiting for approx 3 months. Some issues happened that’s why he was not able to release this song earlier! The vocals are recorded by Vision Studio and mix master is done by them as well. While on the other hand the beat is produced by VNBEATS. The video is edited by RahMaan, D.O.P role was conducted by Rahul Sharma.

On the other hand, the track portrays his current life situation. The way he portrays his life through hard punches is very impressive. He is trying to give the message from his very first line that everyone around him thinks that they know him, but in reality, no one knows the real person inside him. He has lost some people who were with him in his earlier days, so basically, he poured his heart out in this track.

As a matter of fact, the main thing we got know at the end was something mind numbing. He revealed that he doesn’t like his own father, so how do you expect him to forgive anyone else. Finally, he ended his track by ending that chapter of his life and moved further.

2. UP- AAKARSHIT

Firstly, this track has the main paradox lyrically conveyed. In fact, this will help the listeners to understand his upcoming tracks easily. Secondly, he has been experimenting with his sound and doing some RnB stuff. However, the audience he had in his initial days will still fuck with his music. So, he delivered as they expected. In addition, this is the second track of his album “Paradox”. The music for this track is produced by Ninesix. The artist himself did the post production for the track.

3. The Chainsmokers – Closer(Rap Mix)- Blabber 1.0

In this track, Blabber 1.0 speaks about the difficulties he had to face in his teen years, the struggle he had to go through and his journey from being an ordinary kid to a rapper. The original song is called “Closer” by the famous EDM duo, The Chainsmokers. Blabber 1.0 did a rap remix on the beat. The song was recorded at BB productions, Dibrugarh and post production was handled by the artist himself. The video for the song was directed by Deeb Raj Singh and on the other hand, Blabber 1.0 did the editing.

4. Grindin’- Phoenix

The track revolves around subtle storytelling. Through his rhymes, Phoenix portrays the ever changing circumstances and the ups and downs in life. The first verse is based on the rough parts of life, where a person has not gained emotional maturity and yet fights against the circumstances. The second verse revolves around the more emotional aspects of life.

On the other hand, the track was produced by Dhruv G who adds some great flavours to the song structure which stands out. The post production was handled by Phoenix himself.

5. Show No love- Gumnaam featuring Kash

The track “Show No Love”, basically portrays the feelings of an individual who is going through his breakup. The artist beautifully showed the after effect of a breakup. The instrumental for the track is produced by Mubz Got Beats. Kash did the post production for the track.

6.Naya Gaana- Harjas

Jamnapaar’s boy Harjas is back again with his brand new track and as a matter of fact, the track is all about bragging. In fact, Harjas talked that how he is best from the other rappers in the game. The video of this track is sick. Ashar did a fantastic job behind the camera. Talwar did the engineering for the track.

7. Yaar- Deep Harks

Well, the track is based on the artist’s friends who stand with him in his ups and downs. In context with “Yaar”, the artist said, “I was just chilling with some music then I found a beat on YouTube. I started writing on it and made the track in an hour.” The instrumental for this track is produced by Lbeats. The post production of the track was handled by the artist himself.

8. Apne Dam Te- Prolific

The track portrays the artist’s life, the way he started his hustle and problems that he faced during his journey. Prolific also mentioned,“All the bars are just my current state of mind what I wanted to say to my listeners and my haters.” Turbo did the music for Apne Dam Te. Post production of the track was handled by Deep Harks.

On the other hand, this is the first promotional track of his upcoming mixtape “Chandigarh Playlist”. Furthermore, the music video for this track was directed by Aman Singh from On Top Productions.

9. These Days- Sidak Singh And Sam Bolton

“These Days” by Sidak Singh and Sam Bolton is all about the current life situation that these two are facing. From the track, it is clear that both of them don’t give a fuck about anyone and they will continue to do what they want. The whole track was composed by Sidak Singh. On the other hand, Sam Bolton did the post production for the track.

D. Yogi again tries to prove that he is a better writer by writing creative lyrics. “Karu haadsa jaise mai koi badshah” is the hook of this song and by saying this he meant that he can change this rap game with his lyrics because he has the ability to do this. Sero Produktion has created the instrumental for this. He himself handled the post production and did the video as well.
