Like every other week, we try to bring some of the hottest releases from the week for hip-hop listeners. These are hand-picked releases which are not arranged in any rankings and are equally important for the culture. Without any further ado, let’s see some of the dopest releases of this week from the underground scene.

1. Impossible Moonsoon | Krismo

Basically, this track is a forecast for the future predicted by Krismo’s premonitions and visions. As a matter of fact, the whole track is like a journey to him. It starts out braggadocios, almost threatening but by the end, you get the heart and soul of the song which is meant to provoke change. He entitled the track as “Impossible Monsoon” as it depicts that change India is tough and it’s almost like a never-ending monsoon.

2. KhudKhushi | RD Prince

Through this track RD Prince discourages one from committing suicide. Furthermore, the rapper has beautifully conceptualised the story of a man who lost all the hopes in his life and his next step was to end his life. As a matter of fact, RD Prince has written one of his best verses till now. RD Prince nailed it with great vocals and great story line. On the other hand, Aman Ojha did an amazing composition for the track. Inderpal Singh aka Blitz did the visuals for the same. Talking about the track RD stated, “Never commit suicide. Because if you kill yourself, you’re also going to kill the people who love you.”

3. Panda | Maharya And Jazzy Nanu

Jazzy Nanu who is a member of Marathi Hip-Hop Group, approached Maharya for a collaboration because he liked his lyrical approach to the mumble rap anthems. And that’s how they both decided to do a Hindi refix of Panda. They didn’t decide any theme, they chose their own thoughts to spit according to our own perspectives.

4. Kismat | Wazeer And Gumnaam

The idea of doing this track was of Wazeer. As a matter of fact, this track is related to the problem that the rapper faced when they started rapping. On the other hand, Gumnaam’s verse is related to his family situation. The track is produced by Vybe and Wazeer did the post-production for the track. On the whole, underground hip-hop artists going through their struggling period will definitely connect with it.

5. War Within Art | Unos

Rohit Deval aka Unos is 16-year-old hip- hop artist from Hyderabad India. As a matter of fact, he also represents Hyderabad Underground Evolution (H.U.E). Basically, the track is about the things he has explored, experienced and understood about the universe and about himself. In fact, it was a #collabwithgav contest by Broken Complex, in which he participated. Moreover, the first half of the track is about positivity, awareness, his ideology, music, crew, and community. On the other hand, the second half of the track is about the artist talking about negativity and how he’ll rise to live above it.
