Desi Hip Hop artists have taken to their social media handles and expressed an opinion on the recent conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Ram Rahim was found guilty of raping two of his Sadhvis back in 2002. Known for his controversial lifestyle, the Dera Sacha Sauda leader is now in police custody post which his followers have gone berserk!

Dera followers have been unleashing their violence over Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi. Mainly in the Panchkula District where the CBI court announced the verdict. Reportedly at least 26 people have been killed till now with over 70 injured in riots ongoing between Dera followers and the Police as well as Army officials.

Desi Hip Hop has united to raise voice against this tyranny, as many have condemned the actions of blind violent followers. Mainstream rappers like Badshah and Raftaar prayed for victims and asked their fans to stay safe. While rappers like Brodha V expressed their disappointment over the issue.
