“Switch (Fatty Fatty) –REMIX,” co-written by Conkarah and produced by Roach Killa, is a feel-good blend of South Asian and Caribbean-flare, combined with a dance-inducing and infectious track that will force you out of your seat. The new release comes with a high-energy music video that celebrates the uniqueness of both cultures, directed by U.K. director Reece Selvadorai for Grade A Productions.
Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Conkarah is bringing disparate cultures together with his vibrant brand of “Island Pop” — a colorful concoction melding reggae, dancehall, and harmony with classic songwriting, tropical rhythms, and irreverent good humor. Having surpassed a combined 2 billion global streams and topping charts in over 23 countries, Conkarah has emerged as a musical force to be reckoned with.
