Childish Gambino a.k.a. Donald Glover and Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang have teamed up for a not-so-secret pop-up fundraiser in Los Angeles on Dec. 19.
Donald Glover posted the announcement on his Instagram story, which was unexpected as the star has not endorsed any candidate publicly since the 2020 Presidential campaign began. Yang made the announcement on his Twitter. The Democratic candidate wrote, “Attention L.A. #YangGang!”

Rather than the typical political fundraiser, the event will be modeled after a pop-up shop with a merchandise collaboration between Glover a.k.a. Childish and Yang being sold. The sales will contribute to Yang’s presidential campaign.
Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino is no stranger to politics as the Grammy Award-winning “This is America” set the world on fire with its video becoming the fifth-fastest music video in YouTube’s history to reach 100 million views after only nine days.
