Biggie Smalls has lived on through various posthumous albums and collaborations with brands that kept his legacy alive years after he was gunned down on March 9, 1997. On July 14, Budweiser announced their brand new collaboration with the Christopher Wallace Estate, “The Notorious B.I.G. Tall Boy Budweiser Cans”.

“The Notorious B.I.G. Budweiser Tall Boy can is the most iconic can collaboration we’ve done to date,” said Daniel Blake, VP Marketing, Budweiser.

Available exclusively in New York City, the limited-edition cans come with a design inspired by the late rapper’s legendary career. It features a hand-drawn sketch of Biggie with phrases such as “Brooklyn’s Finest” and “King of New York” all over the can. The Brooklyn skyline is also present, and lyrics from Biggie’s Ready To Die album on the can.

Budweiser will also be holding a live concert in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Bandshell on August 19 to celebrate the life of Biggie Smalls. Busta Rhymes, Lil Kim, The LOX, DJ Steph Cakes and more will take the stage. The concert is free and open to the public 21 and over.
