The 2020 inductees will be announced in January 2020. The induction ceremony is expected to take place at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on May 2, 2020. If Big Poppa does win this award, he will be among rappers like Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run-DMC, the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, N.W.A and Tupac Shakur, who have all been honored with an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. If the Brooklyn MC, born Christopher Wallace, is also inducted, he will become the second solo artist and the seventh hip-hop act in the award’s history to earn the prestigious title.
