Barack Obama continued the tradition of sharing his personal favorite music of 2020 by unveiling his playlist. The former President of the United States took to Instagram on December 19 and highlighted an eclectic mix of artists in Hip Hop from Megan Thee Stallion to Travis Scott, Lil Baby, J. Cole, Spillage Village and more.
“Here are some of my favorite songs of the year,” Obama wrote. “As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to.”

Barack Obama also revealed that his end of year and songs of summer playlists are made with more than a little help from daughters Malia and Sasha. “There’s certain things on SoundCloud — she has, like, a private playlist. She won’t share all of it with me because she’s not sure I’m hip enough to handle it,” Obama said at the time.
