AAKASH’s production style consists of progressive synths, trippy baselines, wavy percussion, and extremely catchy melodies – all of which provides artists with the perfect canvas to deliver their sermons! The producer dropped the album titled, ‘Over Seas’ , in 2019, which brought some of the most promising talented acts in Mumbai together. This 16-track album has a vibe that’s like none other, & has something for everyone to relate to.
The album featured Sahir, Bombay Lokal, Dopeadelicz, MC Altaf, D’Evil, Trap Poju, Dee MC, iLLAH, J Kila, Ace among many various other local titans.
AAKASH has won an EMMY award in Audio for his Field Recording and Post-Production work on “Finding Home: Indiana at 200” and is also a member of the EMMY awards judicial committee, judging three EMMYs.
Since the release of Over Seas, AAKASH went on to produce multiple songs with numerous artists in the Desi Hip Hop scene. One of those productions includes ‘Popular’ from Raftaar’s 2020 album – Mr Nair. Raftaar handled most of the production of the 16-track album, but was assisted by some of the dopest producers in the game – Manj Musik, Aakash Ravikrishan, Mahan, Tom Enzy, Deep Kalsi, and others.
