South Asian Rap is an art form which has risen in attention.  It’s content draws from ethnic beliefs or thoughts with relative situations.  V-J is one emcee that reflects this in his music.  He implements the core values and culture of collectivism into his tracks.  Each verse is rooted with contexts of common concerns.  The written work comes from inner emotions felt.  It was a constant sense of poetics that’s merged abstract lyricism with concrete experiences.
