I think it’s safe to say that one of the best parts about the BET Hip Hop Awards are the cyphers right? Seriously, I dislike Award shows from the bottom of my heart! They are nothing but an opportunity for egotistical, self-glorifying, narcissists to hang out with eachother. Ok, maybe I pushed it too far with that last line. Award shows do help artists get recognized for their efforts. But, back on topic, I watch the BET Hip Hop awards to watch what these new rap dudes do on stage, and ofcourse, the BET Hip Hop Cyphers!

Well, this year might just take the crown for the best line-up yet. With the likes of Slaughterhouse, TDE, ASAP Mob, Action Bronson, Travis Scott, Jon Connor, Lil Kim, and many more to take the mic, we really are in for a lyrical treat here. Let’s not forget that DJ Premier is on the boards as well.
